Your username is a unique word or phrase that you select; maybe it describes your personality or what you're looking for in a match. Unlike your email address, your username does not correspond in any way to your identity outside the firstmatchmaker.com community - ensuring that your anonymity is protected until you decide to reveal it.
The username can only be given once. It can happen that a member has already taken the same name. Try to create a new username. Be creative and do not forget that other members will see your username.

Can I update or extend my subscription?

If you pay by credit, debit card you are charged immediately for your subscription package. When your initial subscription term expires, we automatically do not renew your subscription each month like other dating services. You can each time extend or update your subscription. Click on your account.

How can I look for my dream date?

Firstmatchmaker.com offers different options:

Start light with gender, age and country, star sign.


Custom Search:
Customize your search with physical characteristics, lifestyles, backgrounds and values. You can even search for keywords in other members Portraits. Play around and try a variety of searches. You never know where you'll find your perfect match.


New Members:
Click the top menue > search- new members and you will see all newly posted profiles.


Birthday members:
Click top menue > search > birthday members and you will see members and their date of birth.

Prices/Payment


How much does it cost to become a subscriber?

It depends on which plan you choose. We offer a 1- month, 3-month and a 6- month plan . Simply register for free and sign up to learn more about our prices.
Prices do not include miscellaneous expenses usually associated with firstmatchmaker.com dates, such as promotion, personality test, shop, etc.

With your password and username you can enter your personal account settings: here you can save, change all your personal data, profile, match, manage your mail box, check your subscription status etc.

How can I stop my membership?


You may stop your membership any time. Click account settings >account >

When you resign your membership, we immediately hide your Profile and photos from other members. Should you wish to reactivate your Profile within 30 days, all you have to do is sign in and make your Profie visible again.
Should you wish to reactivate your Profile within 30 days, all you have to do is sign in and make your Profile visible again. If you subscribed to a 3-month package and have used only one month, you will not be refunded for the two months. If you resign after your first month, your subscription will remain active the remainder of your initial term. During that time you will be able to send Email and chat instantly one-on-one with others members.

Why should I add a photo?



Members with photos get up to unlimited times more attention than those without.
If you do not have a digital photo you can send us your photos by regular mail and we will scan them free of charges.

How many photos can I add?

Describe who you are looking for, and we will deliver your matches right to your inbox. To see who clicked on your Profile click>suggested matches.
Can I get matches without checking my inbox?
Yes, if you want to receive newsletter membership than you will receive automatically matches.

How do I add favorites to my list?

Visit the member's Profiles, and click on the Save me to favorites link.

What does promotion mean?

Increase your chances to let people know you are out there and ready to meet the right one. Your profile presents you to the world. Present yourself on the first places on First Matchmaker.com.

You can choose 3 kinds of online self-promotion:


1. Single of the day: Members can see your photo and profile for one day


2. Single of Germany: Members can see your photo and profile on several pages on the booked day but you will share this space with 4 other members who have posted their portrait on the same day


3. Single of USA: Members can see your photo and profile on several pages on the booked day but you will share this space with 4 other members who have posted their portrait on the same day


Nobody wants to waste his valuable time with online dating. Be honest!
